This webinar is designed for dental assistants to familiarize themselves with practice management principles of customer/patient satisfaction. The role of the dental assistant and how she/he can enhance the patient’s overall clinical and office experience will be discussed.
Sheila Clancy is a practice management consultant with over 45 years in the dental profession. She has worked as a chairside certified dental assistant as well as a treatment coordinator in several orthodontic practices. She worked as an administrator for a large multi-specialty group practice for 16 years. In 1988 she co-founded Project Stretch, Inc: "Dentistry Reaching Out to Children.”
She holds a BSBA in Accounting from Northeastern University and an MBA from Babson College.
She has served at the local, state, and national level of the ADAA through the years and has served as the Treasurer for the Professional Dental Assistants Education Foundation.
Upon completion of this course, the dental professional should be able to:
• Analyze your practice from a patient’s perspective;
• Periodically become a "secret shopper" in your practice;
• Identify areas of improvement; and
• Execute a plan to create a patient-centered practice.
