COURSE DESCRIPTION

This live one (1) hour webinar is designed for dental professionals as an overview of how to recognize when it is time for a change in one's professional career and the steps to ensure a successful job transition and future satisfaction.

PRINCIPAL FACULTY

Virginia Cairrao, CDA, FADAA is a DANB certified dental assistant, and a Fellow of The American Dental Assistants Association. Virginia is employed by Dr. Jason Hencler in Warwick, RI. She has been a dental professional for over 38 years. Virginia has been a chairside dental assistant, dental patient coordinator and an office manager. Virginia has been a member of the Rhode Island Dental Assistants Association, the American Dental Assistants Association, and a Certified Dental Assistant for 38 years. She is a Past President of the ADAA.

Virginia has presented various educational programs for the American Dental Assistants Association. She has spoken at the Greater New York Dental Meeting, the Chesapeake Dental Congress as well as presenting webinars.

Virginia recently left a general dental practice where she worked in clinical and administrative positions for almost 36 years to seek a different opportunity which she has found to be a challenge, an eye-opener and a learning experience.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

After participating in this program, dental professionals should be able to:

  • Recognize the signs when it is time for a job transition.
  • Outline what steps to take to ensure a successful transition.
  • Discuss what to expect after a job transition.
